Prefill is built to keep your data on your own device.
Your profile, saved answers, uploaded résumé, and application list are stored locally in your browser (Chrome storage). This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Prefill does not collect your browsing history, and does not record the pages you visit. Field labels and question text are read from the page you are on only to decide what to fill, on your device, and are not sent anywhere unless you use an AI feature below.
If you use an AI-powered feature (résumé parsing, a drafted answer, or a fit check on a posting), the relevant text (the question being answered, the posting text, or your résumé, along with the saved details needed to answer) is sent to produce that result and nothing else. Answers to protected-class questions (race, ethnicity, gender, disability, veteran status, age, religion, marital or citizenship status) are removed before anything leaves your device. Autofill that does not involve AI runs entirely on your machine.
AI requests pass through our own server, hosted on Cloudflare Workers, to Anthropic's Claude API, which generates the result. Neither is given your identity, and neither is permitted to use your text to build a profile of you or to train a model. Those are the only third parties that receive application data. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe, which handles payment data under its own terms; we never see or store your full card number.
Prefill's use of information received from Google APIs, and of all user data it handles, adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell user data, do not transfer it for advertising or creditworthiness purposes, and do not use it for anything other than the feature you asked for.
You can export or delete your data at any time from the extension's settings. Uninstalling the extension removes your locally stored data.

By installing and using Prefill ("the extension") you agree to these terms.
Prefill helps you fill in web forms from information you save. You are responsible for reviewing every field before submitting any application. Prefill does not submit applications on your behalf and does not guarantee any employment outcome.
Prefill matches each form field to your saved information by guessing, and it can guess wrong: it may pick a stale answer, fill from the wrong profile, misread a question, or leave a required field empty. Read every field it fills before you submit. Pay particular attention to dates, salary, work authorization, licence and certification details, and anything you sign or attest to. Submitting inaccurate information on an application can cost you the job or worse, and that responsibility is yours, not ours.
Use Prefill only to fill applications with your own accurate information, and in compliance with the terms of the websites you use it on.
Prefill Premium is an optional recurring subscription (weekly, monthly, or quarterly) billed through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Prefill is intended for people old enough to work and to enter a contract where they live. Do not use it if you are under 16.
Prefill is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any applicant-tracking system, job board, hiring platform, or employer. Any product or company name that appears in the extension or in these pages is used only to describe where Prefill works, and remains the trademark of its owner.
The extension is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from its use, and our total liability for any claim relating to Prefill is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Nothing here limits any right you have under the consumer-protection laws of the place you live.
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continuing to use Prefill after a change means you accept it.
Premium starts with a 3-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.
After the trial, Premium is billed in advance for the period you choose (weekly, monthly or quarterly) and renews automatically until you cancel. You can switch periods or cancel at any time from the billing portal.
If you were charged and are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we'll refund your most recent payment. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by contacting support; cancellation stops future charges.
